Award for Employer Commitment to Learning 2010
Bluestar Fibres has been announced as the winner of the Award for Employer Commitment to Learning 2010 which is made annually by Immingham-based CERT Ltd. 21st Annual Bluestar Camp, China
2010 is the second year we have had the privilege of sending 6 lucky children on the Bluestar International Summer Camp. The children and Andy Gant (their chaperone) departed for China in August for 3 weeks based in Beijing.
Following on from their first week of learning to ski or snowboard at a large indoor snow slope, the children all had the opportunity to spend a day with a Chinese host family. Initially, the itinerary did not include a trip to the Great Wall of China; however time was spared and the group were lucky enough to experience an excursion to this magnificent historical site. The children have all had a fantastic experience and thoroughly enjoyed learning about Chinese culture first hand.
